Expedition tops award achievement
Another successful Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme has seen 22 students develop essential skills, discover new talents, and contribute to their community through a variety of volunteering. This weekend saw our 23-24 Duke of Edinburgh Bronze cohort complete their expedition in Saddleworth and the surrounding area. Orchestral manoeuvres give a spark/ Acting talent in exam showcase
A day of learning and rehearsal led to an afternoon performance for students who have been learning to play their musical instrument as part of the MiSST activities in school. Mystery readers amongst inspiring reading activity
The annual celebration of reading and story telling that is World Book Day made a welcome return to school. The long running event gives us a powerful opportunity to encourage all our students in their reading. Finding ‘Time’ to discover science
The chance to explore science through new and unusual experiments helped to broaden students’ understanding as we celebrated British Science Week. Practical lessons across Key Stage 3 embraced the event’s theme of ‘Time’’. The visit from Ofsted inspectors in late February has led to celebrations at The Radclyffe School, as the Chadderton secondary was judged ‘Good’ in all categories and ‘Good’ overall.
