Students and staff at The Radclyffe School will be showing off their excellent school later this month, welcoming Year 6 pupils, and their parents and carers to the Hunt Lane site.
The Open Evening takes place on Wednesday 25th September, with doors open from 5pm til 7.30pm.
Visitors will get a ‘hands on’ experience of everything from food preparation to creating art, music and drama, cutting edge technology to first-class sports facilities. They will see for themselves the excellent facilities across all the subjects they will study, and hear, from students, teachers, and the headteacher, about the high-quality teaching and learning that students enjoy.
They can also discover the broad choice of extra-curricular activities that the school offers, giving students opportunities to broaden their skills and benefit from incredible experiences.
Headteacher John Cregg said, “It is our pleasure to welcome pupils and parents to visit our school so that they can experience for themselves the wonderful quality of education we offer.”
Recognising that transferring to secondary school can be a daunting experience, the school ensures that there is a seamless transition through excellent relationships with the young people’s primary schools.
If you are unable to make the evening event, we also offer Open Day tours during the school day. These will take place on Thursday 26th September, at 9am and 11.15am. Please call the school office on 0161 622 3200 to book a place.
