Dear Parents and Carers,
We are delighted to invite you to our Key Stage 4 Curriculum Information Evening which will be held in school on Tuesday 17th September. The event will begin at 4:30pm, end at 5:30pm and it is relevant for all families who have children at the school in Years 10 and 11.
The purpose of the event is to share important information regarding your child’s education during the upcoming school year. This will include:
· Details of the curriculum that children will follow in Years 10-11
· The teaching and learning strategies that will be used by our teachers
· Inputs from subject leaders of English, Maths and Science
· Our ‘Home Learning’ policies and expectations
· How parents and carers can support their child’s education
· How we prepare your child for Key Stage 5
· How we will develop your child’s literacy skills
Following the presentations in the Main Hall you will be invited to join us in the school library for refreshments and to receive a complimentary ‘Golden Ticket’ book token for your child.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to join us for this very important event. Families who have attended these evenings in previous years have shared with us that they found them to be a really useful resource for supporting their child through the academic year.
