Dear Parents and Carers,
Here at The Radclyffe School we are passionate about developing our students to be well rounded individuals who are able to access the world of work and thrive upon leaving. With this in mind all Year 10 students have the opportunity to take part in a one-week work placement. The purpose of this week is for our young people to gain valuable experience of the work place, develop transferable skills, gain an insight into the real world of work and explore different career paths.
All Year 10 students have been issued with work experience forms and are due to submit them by Friday 31st March. Over 50% of our Year 10 cohort have successfully sourced a placement and submitted their forms. If you child has not yet sourced a placement, please encourage them to do so this week, or alternatively advise them to visit the Personal Development Hub in school to gain contacts of past placements.
Please encourage our child to take up this fantastic opportunity to link their curriculum to careers.
