Our Year 10 students recently participated in the CyberFirst MEGA event, an engaging and high-energy experience designed to introduce young people to careers in technology and cybersecurity.
The day was packed with interactive challenges requiring both digital skills and real-world problem solving. From decrypting messages and tracing hidden clues to investigating simulated cyber-attacks, students gained a hands-on insight into key areas such as cryptography, OSINT (open source intelligence), digital forensics, and data analytics.
Working in teams, students raced against the clock to complete their MEGA Mission, developing essential transferable skills along the way, including communication, critical thinking, and teamwork.
This exciting event not only sparked curiosity about the world of cybersecurity but also highlighted the importance of collaboration and adaptability in our increasingly digital future.
We are proud of how our students rose to the challenge and represented The Radclyffe School with enthusiasm and resilience.
