The Uniform Exchange Project will help to give a new lease of life for items of school uniform that our students might have grown out of or no longer need.
Uniform Exchange will give parents the opportunity to reuse shirts, trousers, skirts ties and blazers.
Every year hundreds of tonnes of used clothing ends up in general waste, so if we can make even a small dent in this, it is worth trying.
All donated items will be cleaned and steamed before being offered for collection. Parents and carers will be able to find the items they might need, sorted by size.
From the start of the new Spring term we are accepting donations for the Uniform Exchange scheme – there is a drop box in Visitors’ Reception. We would ask that items are in good condition. You will be able to donate throughout the year, but we will arrange dates when you can choose items of uniform which will be during the summer holiday.
Clothes can be dropped off at the collection points whenever the school is open, but we will also offer the opportunity at Parents’ Evenings and other special events through the year.
