A Year 9 class recently had the unique opportunity to participate in a virtual enrichment session with Baroness Garden of Frognel. This session was part of our ongoing commitment to personal development and encouraging active citizenship among our students.
During the meeting, students asked thoughtful and insightful questions about the current Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill, which is presently being debated in the House of Lords. The discussion gave pupils a valuable chance to deepen their understanding of how legislation can directly affect their education and wellbeing.
We are incredibly proud of the maturity and curiosity demonstrated by our students throughout the session. Opportunities like this enable them to connect classroom learning with real-world issues, fostering a greater awareness of their role in society.
