Last week, a group of our enthusiastic Year 10 students had the exciting opportunity to visit Oldham College, gaining a valuable insight into life beyond secondary school and the wide array of options available to them for post-16 education.
During the visit, students explored a diverse range of vocational subjects, including Construction, Hair & Beauty, Travel & Tourism, and many more. They took part in interactive, hands-on sessions that gave them a real feel for what studying each subject at college would be like.
The trip not only broadened their understanding of potential career pathways but also helped them begin thinking about their next steps after GCSEs. Whether they were laying bricks, styling hair, or learning about the travel industry, our students showed great curiosity and enthusiasm.
We’re proud of how they represented the school and are confident that experiences like these will play a key role in helping them make informed decisions about their future.
