This year is the eighth anniversary of the Manchester Arena attack, in which 22 people were very sadly killed. TRS Joins The Cranmer Education Trust
We are pleased to share that from 1st May 2025, The Radclyffe School has formally joined The Cranmer Education Trust. The Trust is a family of 10 schools – five secondary and five primary – across Rochdale and Oldham, all supported by a strong teacher training and development arm. Record breaking mountaineer visits TRS
Today, groups of Year 11 students had the incredible opportunity to hear from Akke Rahman, a mountaineer who grew up in Oldham and the first British Muslim to conquer Mount Everest in 2022. Akke’s mountaineering journey began in 2019 with Mount Snowdon, and by October 2020, he had already set a UK record by summiting Mount Elbrus in under 24 hours. British Science Week at TRS
TRS was bustling as it celebrated British Science Week from March 10–14, 2025. Students celebrated the wonders of science through a range of activities, anything from engineering challenges to explosive experiments to a spectacular planetarium visit.
