Dear Parent/Carer,
During self-isolation it is important that all students have access to high-quality remote education that aligns as closely as possible with our in-school provision.
Educational activities are created in a range of formats, so that they are accessible to all, reducing the risk of any students being left behind.
Students should follow their timetable so they can experience a range of subjects each day.
Distance Learning Provision
- Students will receive a paper-based curriculum pack planned by specialist teachers that aligns with work being completed in school. This work can be completed in the distance learning book included in the pack. This pack contains work for 3 weeks. This pack contains all subjects. For KS4 It is important that your child only completes English, Maths, Science, Skills for Life and work for their option subjects. KS3 students should complete all subjects.
- Students should check their school email to receive copies of lesson resources and other information from their individual teachers. Students can email their teachers for any help needed while they are learning at home.
- Weekly ‘guided learning pages’ are available for all subjects on Frog. These include links to relevant learning resources as well as recorded lessons.
Our online learning provision is ‘device neutral’ so everything can be accessed on any device with students working both online and on paper.
The assembly shared with students regarding the updated provision is available on the link below:
