A student guide to how to access home learning in Frog.
Introduction
This guide has been written for students, parents & carers outlining how to access learning resources through our Frog Learning Platform from home.
Step 1
Students should begin by logging into the School Intranet (“Login” button in the top right of the school website). Then click on the FrogOS icon to open Frog. Alternatively students can can access Frog directly here.
Students should login using the username and password that they use to login to the school computers (e.g. rad10234).
If students have any problems accessing home learning please visit our Home Learning Access Support page in the first instance.

Step 2
Once you are logged into Frog you will be able to see a notification that you have been assigned a new piece of Home Learning. These notifications appear at the top right corner of your screen in a coloured circle (with a number inside). Click on the coloured circle to see the details of assignments set by your teacher.

Step 3
Click on the assignment notification to open the assignment.

Step 4
Read the instructions for the assignment set by your teacher carefully.
Click on each blue box to download any resources your teacher wants you to use to complete the assignment.
Some assignments require you to simply acknowledge that you’ve completed the task. This can be when your teacher wants to complete the work offline / in a physical format and then return it to them once the school re-opens.

Other assignments require that you submit your completed work back to your teacher through Frog. These assignments include a file drop area where you can upload your completed work for your teacher.

Most often these assignments will require you to download a worksheet or PowerPoint, which will need saving and renaming in your documents. Once you’ve downloaded the work you’ll then need to complete it, save it on your computer and then upload it back to the Frog. Once you’ve uploaded your completed work double check that the file is showing in the file drop widget before handing in the work to your teacher.

Once you have completed the assignment click the Hand In Assignment button at the bottom right corner of your screen.
Step 5
On the next screen you will hand in your assignment. Your teacher may have enabled Self Evaluation. Adjust the Self Evaluation slider to explain how well you understood the assignment. You can select from Not very well, OK and Very Well. You can also add a comment for your teacher if you wish to do so. Now click the Hand In button.

Step 6
You will receive a notification saying Assignment Handed In.

Step 7
Students can also access their home learning at any time from the My Area drop down menu in Frog. Select My Home Learning from the menu to display the home learning calendar. Students can toggle through the weeks or view assignments set under any subject.
