As part of the school’s licence with Adobe, students are able to download in install software from the Adobe Creative Suite to use on personal devices.
The licence allows students to be signed into two devices at the same time (including any school devices they sign into.) If a student signs into more than two devices at the same time they will be prompted to ask which of the other devices they want to sign out of before continuing.
To access the Creative Cloud Portal at home so you can download and install the software please click here, then click “Sign In” in the top right hand corner.
On the sign in page, click either the “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Microsoft” options.
Students will need to enter their school email address and school password. Email addresses are in the format [email protected] (replacing the XXXXX with their personal rad number, e.g. [email protected])
If prompted to use either a “Personal Account” or “Company or School Account”, select “Company or School Account”.
Once logged in, you will see a list of apps available for you to use. Your list of available apps may differ from the ones on the example screenshot below.
Some apps have a web version, which means you access it through your web browser and do not have to install any software on your machine and any work done is processed in the Cloud. These apps will say (web) in brackets next to them. The web apps are usually not as fully featured as the installed versions.
Other apps will require you to download and install them on your computer. To start the install simply click on the app you want to download and you will be prompted to take an action in order to start the install. Please note that you will need the administrator permissions on the computer you are using in order to install software.
Once the software is installed on your computer you should be able to find the icon to open it either in your Start Menu or your Desktop.
