Our weekly celebration of students’ excellence.
The Book of Excellence is a striking celebration of the school’s ethos. Created from our students’ design concepts, at its heart the book is building a permanent, ever-growing record of our students’ achievement and excellence throughout the school.
Each week a student from each year group is chosen from staff nominations, their success recorded in the book for everyone to see. The pages build up an archive of distinction through the year.
Shah nominated by Miss Colderley
For Mental Health Awareness Week, Shah created and delivered a presentation to the whole class about mental health. Well done, Shah – this demonstrated excellent communication skills, confidence, and a genuine passion for raising awareness about such an important topic.

Maryum nominated by Mrs Begum
During the Y8 debate in my lesson Maryum has gone above and beyond in preparing for the debate. She and her team wrote up excellent ideas and have been able to express these through the delivery of the debate. They have had clear introduction, three main points, counter argument and conclusion. I was super impressed with the hard work and dedication they put into the debate.
Kolsuma nominated by Mrs Coope
Kolsuma recently led the Year 1 students as part of her leadership qualification and received great praise from the organiser. She is an asset to the school and it is a privilege to have taught her. Well done!

Hanifa nominated by Mr Khan
I would like to nominate Hanifa for consistently coming to revision sessions after school in science for PPEs. She has been completing outstanding revision outside of school and putting 100% effort in to make the most out of revision lessons in class.
Sophia nominated by Mrs Weaver
Sophia always goes above and beyond in everything she does. She is really focused on her revision and always ask me for more or to go over and check when she has completed. She has also completed lots of intervention and revision lunch sessions. Well done Sophia.
