Our weekly celebration of students’ excellence.
The Book of Excellence is a striking celebration of the school’s ethos. Created from our students’ design concepts, at its heart the book is building a permanent, ever-growing record of our students’ achievement and excellence throughout the school.
Each week a student from each year group is chosen from staff nominations, their success recorded in the book for everyone to see. The pages build up an archive of distinction through the year.
Ramisa nominated by Mrs Mills
I would like to nominate Ramisa for the Book of Excellence for showing resilience and determination in her first weeks at the The Radclyffe School. Ramisa has worked hard and keenly followed the 5 respects. Her smile always brightens my day.
Emily nominated by Mrs Begum
Emily has had a fantastic start to Year 8 English. I have been incredibly impressed with her passion, commitment and her enthusiasm for our current topic. She has written a wonderful letter using all the skills that have been taught over the last two weeks. Well done Emily!
Azaan nominated by Mrs Horridge
Azaan is an outstanding student who consistently makes positive choices and embodies our five respects. He is polite, respectful and courteous to both staff and his peers, and is a fantastic role model for others within our year group. Azaan embraces our high expectations and meets them every day with ease. His excellent attitude and conduct are evident across all areas of school life, not just in individual lessons. This is reflected in his 61 positive logs and 0 negative logs, demonstrating his commitment to making the right choices and setting an excellent example for those around him. He should be very proud of himself, just as we, the Year 9 team certainly are!
Mariana nominated by Mrs Collins
Mariana has had an amazing start to her Science GCSE! She arrives on time and gets started with her work straight away. Mariana always comes to lessons with a smile and is consistently polite and kind to the students around her. When covering some difficult content, Mariana has shown real resilience. She has not given up and has worked hard to overcome any challenges. This is fantastic and exactly the attitude we expect at GCSE. As long as Mariana continues to work in this way, I am sure she will do really well in Science. Well done, Mariana!
Scarlett nominated by Mrs Coope
Scarlett has represented the school netball team since Year 7. She has attended training every Monday and Tuesday for 5 years which shows huge levels of commitment. In the recent rally she was awarded Girl of the Tournament which is fantastic. Her Sports Studies work is good and she works hard to achieve the best grade possible on every piece. She is an excellent student.
