Our weekly celebration of students’ excellence.
The Book of Excellence is a striking celebration of the school’s ethos. Created from our students’ design concepts, at its heart the book is building a permanent, ever-growing record of our students’ achievement and excellence throughout the school.
Each week a student from each year group is chosen from staff nominations, their success recorded in the book for everyone to see. The pages build up an archive of distinction through the year.
Tasmin nominated by Mrs Moran
Tasmin did a fantastic job completing her Year 7 rhetoric speech. She passionately advocated for gender equality, delivering an eloquent and persuasive presentation. Her dedication and confidence not only demonstrated a mastery of the topic but also earned her the class vote for delivering the best speech. Well done Tasmin!

Nakita nominated by Miss Rule
Nakita has created and produced a wonderfully engaging comic, with original characters and plot line, and with support from her friend Luke. Not only that, she has illustrated the entire comic, which is proudly displayed in May’s newsletter. Nakita is also a fantastic model student, with 100% attendance and over 550 positive logs, which reflect her positive and uplifting attitude.
Amina nominated by Miss Ypsilanti
I would like to nominate Amina for the Book of Excellence for achieving the highest score in the end of year assessment and for trying so hard to get mastering. She also constantly asks for feedback how to improve her writing. Well done!

Madihah nominated by Mrs Coope
Madihah tried her hardest in the recent Athletics field events and despite not medalling, she continued to be the excellent student she is by helping award other students with their medals. She is always ready to help when ever help is needed, and this is a fantastic attribute to have.
