Dear Parent/Carer,
During this school closure it is important that all students have access to high-quality remote education that aligns as closely as possible with our in-school provision.
Educational activities are created in a range of formats, so that they are accessible to all, reducing the risk of any students being left behind.
Students should follow their timetable so they can experience a range of subjects each day.
Distance Learning Provision
- Students will be assigned recorded lessons on Frog and a Microsoft quiz for feedback.
- Students should check their school email to receive copies of lesson resources and other information from their individual teachers. Students can email their teachers for any help needed while they are learning at home.
- Weekly ‘guided learning pages’ are available for all subjects on Frog. These include links to relevant learning resources.
Our online learning provision is ‘device neutral’ so everything can be accessed on any device with students working both online and on paper. Work set should not require students to download and print documents.
Students should click ‘assignment complete’ when they have completed the lesson, complete the Microsoft quiz and if possible take a photo of their work to email their teachers.
Remember, if you have any concerns about helping your child learn or you need any other support from the school, including needing paper based learning, please let us know by contacting school:
Email: [email protected] Telephone: 0161 622 3200
There is also help available to support parents and students with accessing Frog:
