This week, we were honoured to welcome Father Phil Sumner from The Parish of Our Lady and St Patrick Oldham and the Oldham Inter-Faith Forum to The Radclyffe School. During our assemblies, Father Phil shared thoughtful and inspiring reflections with our students, focusing on the meaning of Easter and the message of resurrection.
One particularly striking moment came when Father Phil quoted the French philosopher Albert Camus, who once said:
“In the depths of winter, I found within myself an invincible summer.”
This powerful message reminds us that even in the most challenging of times, we all have the ability to find strength and hope within ourselves.
