We want to take the opportunity to say congratulations and well done to our students for a very good start to the academic year.
The way in which the majority of students have dealt with the change in school breaks and the year group bubbles has been nothing short of excellent.
As students leave for the half term break, we would like to remind parents/carers of our expectations around uniform and also with the changes regarding the dress code for PE.
As you are aware on the days students have PE, students need to wear their PE uniform to school. The current Radclyffe School PE kit consists of:
• A red Radclyffe School polo shirt or t-shirt
• A black Radclyffe School tracksuit top or sweat top
• Plain black shorts or tracksuit bottoms
• Plain black sports leggings (for girls)
• Trainers
• The Radclyffe School Blazer
If they do not have ANY item of the PE kit then they should come to school in their full school uniform. For example, if they don’t have plain black tracksuit trousers, they must not come to school in blue tracksuit trousers, instead they should come in their full school uniform and get the correct trousers for the next lesson. If students choose to wear shorts in their PE lesson, they must wear tracksuit trousers over the top in other lessons.
The school’s uniform policy states that students are NOT ALLOWED to wear hooded tops or jewellery. These items will be confiscated if they have them in their possession when in school.
We wish you and your family a good, enjoyable and safe break.
