Dear Parents and Carers,
In September 2020, we provided every child in the school free of charge with a CURRICULUM LEARNING PACK. This was an exceptional measure to support our students’ safe return to learning and to minimise infection risks with Covid 19. The packs have been really successful and we are really proud of how well most students have looked after them. We recognise some items may get lost, broken or run out and it is vital that all our students are fully equipped for all lessons. We have continued to replenish items this term where students have needed them, but due to the increasing costs of Covid safety measures on our school budget, we can no longer afford to do this.
As the term draws to a close, please ask your child to check they have all their equipment in their packs and to purchase any missing items over the Christmas break, so that they are ready for the new term on the 4th January 2021.
Students need the following essential items in their learning packs every day; a black, a red and a blue biro pen, an HB pencil, a ruler, rubber, sharpener, geometry set, dry wipe pen, glue stick, a Casio scientific calculator and set of colour pencils.
Certain items such as a dry wipe pen and glue stick, can be provided by school if necessary. Casio scientific calculators can be purchased either on line, in most major supermarkets or in the Maths Faculty.
If you have any issues in providing or sourcing these items please contact your child’s year manager.
