We’re really proud to share that our STEM on Track drivers for Test Day and the Grand Finals have now been officially selected. This marks an exciting milestone in the programme, with students now stepping into the final stages of preparation ahead of taking to the track.
In the coming weeks, students will be completing a series of online training modules designed to ensure they feel confident and well prepared in all aspects of safety, protocols and racing procedures. These modules will help build their understanding of what to expect on race day and ensure everyone is ready to perform at their best in a safe and controlled environment.
Alongside this, students have also begun setting up their official online profiles, including new headshots, which adds a real sense of identity and professionalism to the team. It has been brilliant to see students engaging with this process, taking pride in representing the school and the STEM on Track programme.
There has also been plenty of excitement in person, with students trying on their driver kits for the first time. For many, this has been a standout moment, helping everything feel much more real as the competition draws closer. Razia was among those to try on her full kit this week and it was fantastic to see her enthusiasm as things continue to take shape.
The karts are coming together brilliantly, and there is a real buzz building around the group. Staff have been impressed by the level of commitment, teamwork and enthusiasm shown so far, with students fully embracing the experience and all the opportunities it brings.
With just a few weeks to go, anticipation is growing as we look ahead to Test Day and the Grand Finals. It promises to be an exciting conclusion to a fantastic project.
