In response to guidance from Public Health England, following the current exponential rise of Covid-19 cases in the North West particularly amongst school aged children, we are going to resume in school testing for COVID-19 for all of students who we have previously received parental/carer consent. This will help slow the spread of the virus and keep the members of our school community and their families safer.
Each student with consent will be tested ONCE before the end of the school year.
We will be starting to test students on Friday 25th June, beginning with students in Year 10 and Year 9. If you child is absent on this day then they will be able to be tested the following week.
If you have already previously consented to your child having a COVID-19 test in school, then no further action is required.
If you have not previously provided consent for your child to be tested but would now like to do so, please click the link below to a short online form.
If you have previously consented, but would now NOT like your child to be tested, please click on the link below.
In addition to this it is important that students continue to do regular lateral flow tests at home.
