Dear Parent/Carer,
During any period of isolation, it is important that all students have access to high-quality remote education that aligns as closely as possible with our in-school provision.
Educational activities are created in a range of formats, so that they are accessible to all, reducing the risk of any students being left behind.
Students should follow their timetable so they can experience a range of subjects each day.
Distance Learning Provision
• Online Guided Learning Resources available on Frog to mirror the curriculum delivered in school for all subjects (these are available immediately for all students)
• Recorded lessons on Microsoft Stream and Diagnostic feedback on Microsoft Forms to mirror the daily timetable for the majority of subjects (these will be assigned on Frog by class teachers from the second day of any isolation)
• Email contact with class teachers (this will start on the second day of any isolation)
Our online learning provision is ‘device neutral’ so everything can be accessed on any device with students working both online and on paper. Work set should not require students to download and print documents.
Students should click ‘assignment complete’ when they have completed the lesson, complete the Microsoft Form and if possible take a photo of their work to email their teachers.
Remember, if you have any concerns about helping your child learn or you need any other support from the school, including needing any resources or a device to access learning, please let us know by contacting school:
