Further to my letter of 21st February, I can confirm that the school has received notification from the NEU trade union that its members propose to take industrial strike action on Tuesday 28th February. This action relates to a national dispute over pay.
A significant number of staff within our school are members of this union and therefore the school will be affected by the industrial action.
We have conducted a thorough risk assessment and based upon the number of teaching staff we expect to be in school on Tuesday, we will not be able to offer our usual, in-school lessons to all year groups. The arrangements for Tuesday will be as follows:

| Year 7 | Online Learning |
| All students with an EHCP | Attend school as normal |
| All Looked After Children | Attend school as normal |
Students in Year 11 must attend school at the usual time (no later than 8.35am) wearing their full school uniform. Café Mojo will be open at the normal break and lunch times.
Students in Years 7-10 will access a mixture of live lessons and other online learning resources that will mirror their usual timetable. Further details of how your child will access this online curriculum will be sent in a separate letter.
