On behalf of staff and students of the Radclyffe School we express our sadness at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and gratitude for dutiful service throughout her long reign.
We have received guidance from the DfE stating that, during this period of national mourning schools should remain open and normal attendance is expected. We await further information for any national events that will take place in the coming weeks.
In our PLG sessions this morning (9th September) students were invited to reflect on the life of the Queen, and her example of service and duty to the nation and the Commonwealth.
