When students return to school in September, they will not be allowed to share or borrow curriculum equipment such as pens, pencils etc from each other or from staff. This is to minimise infection risks and to comply with the current DFE Guidance.
We’ve therefore decided to provide every child with a CURRICULUM LEARNING PACK which will remain on your child’s desk at all times for their sole use. The pack contains a wide range of stationary items and curriculum equipment- details are on the image below.
Our priority is to ensure that every child has a safe and smooth return to their learning this September and we feel that this pack will support them in doing so. The costs of the Learning packs will be covered by school and we expect students to look after them. Should your child lose their pack, they will need to purchase any future ones from school or provide their own.
Students will need to bring their own Casio scientific calculator to school as these are not included in the pack and of
course, a school bag. Casio scientific calculators are used by students in a range of subjects and can be purchased either on line, in most major supermarkets or from the Maths Faculty (via ParentPay). We recommend the Casio 85GTX calculator.
We still recommend students have their own set of pens and equipment kept at home as these will be needed for home learning and GCSE coursework.
The Curriculum Learning Pack will contain the following items: Black pen, Red pen, Blue pen, HB Pencil, Rubber, Colour pencils, Geometry set, Sharpener, Glue stick, Long ruler, Dry wipe board, Dry wipe marker pen, Dry wipe rubber, A4 Tuff Bag
