Dear Year 6 Pupil and Parents/Carers,
We would like to provide you with the finalised details of our Virtual Induction Day and New Parents Evening events in light of the unfortunate cancellation of our in-person plans.
On Wednesday 30th June our Virtual Induction Day webpage will go live. On the page you will be able to find the following information:

- PE & Reading challenges
- ‘Go Big’ book activities

On Thursday 1st July our Virtual New Parents Event will start. The webpage will provide the key information you will need to support your child’s move to The Radclyffe School along with an opportunity to speak live with key members of the transition team. The team will be available via our website between 4:30pm - 6:00pm.
You also be sent an electronic copy of our New Parents Evening booklet which will also contain all the key information you will need. The transition team members who will be available to answer your questions are:
- The Headteacher – Mr Cregg
- Members of our Senior Leadership Team
- Transition Coordinators - Mrs Jones and Mrs Parkes
- Year Manager – Mr Lunt

Our new Year 7 students will also be receiving an Induction Day Pack delivered to their primary school which will include the following:
- ‘Go Big’ book which supports students wellbeing during transition
- PLG info card
- A Radclyffe pen
- A Radclyffe pencil
- A Radclyffe drawstring bag
- Induction Booklet
We can also confirm that Tuesday 7th September will become Transition Day. Only our new Year 7 students will be in school on this day in order to meet staff, become familiar with the building, complete enrichment activities and feel confident to start secondary school with us.
