At The Radclyffe School our Citizenship and Values Curriculum educates our learners for life, so that they are able to leave The Radclyffe School as well-rounded individual members of the community and citizens of modern day Britain. With this in mind we run the PIXL EDGE programme with our Year 7 and 8 students.
The aim of this programme is to develop and accredit students with those personal attributes essential for employability and life. We want our students to strive to be the best they can be. The LORIC programme will allow them to develop and be accredited for five key attributes which have been chosen for there formative qualities in character development as well as their desirability by employers.
The Edge’s 5 key attributes are:
- Leadership
- Organisation
- Resilience
- Initiative
- Communication
All students are introduced to the LORIC programme through their Citizenship and Values curriculum offer and are given the opportunity to log their activities and provide evaluations for each one. We hope this will encourage them to get involved in as many extra-curricular opportunities as possible both in and out of school.
We want to ensure that your child leaves The Radclyffe School not only with the best qualifications possible but with personal attributes that allow them to stand our form the crowd and achieve their goals.
