Dear Parent/Carer
This week I have informed Governors of my decision to retire from my post as Headteacher of The Radclyffe School with effect from 31st August 2019. Whilst it has been a difficult decision to leave such an outstanding school, I believe it is the right time for me to step down and enjoy my retirement after nearly 22 years as Headteacher of The Radclyffe School.
I consider myself very fortunate and privileged to have worked with some amazing students and talented staff and governors. I wish to say a special ‘thank you’ to you as parents for your wonderful support, over many years, which has meant a lot to me.
The Governors have now advertised the post nationally and I have every confidence that they will appoint an outstanding candidate who will continue to work with all stakeholders to bring further success to The Radclyffe School community. I am sure Mrs. Webb, Chair of Governors, will contact you once an appointment has been made.
Yours faithfully
H.S. Hayer
Headteacher
