Please see the latest update from MyEd.
“The latest version of the app is live and being downloaded by parents.
We are aware that when they download the latest version all of their past messages will have been removed from the app. We will be working to restore these in the coming days.
If you do get any parents asking about this, please advise them that it is being addressed.”
Please see the following statement from PS Connect, the providers of the schools MyEd app.
“Important information regarding in-app messages in the MyEd app.
This afternoon we were made aware of an issue with the in-app messaging system, where less than 0.7% users may have received duplicate or incorrect messages. Please note, text (SMS) and email were not affected by this incident.
Following investigation, we have made the decision to disable access to the MyEd app, in order to work on a fix and prevent further inconvenience to users. The following message will be sent to all MyEd app users:
“MyEd App Update. You may have noticed an issue with the MyEd App this afternoon. We’re working on an update and will send you a new notification when it’s ready. We thank you for your patience and will be in contact again shortly. MyEd team.”
The team are continuing to work on this fix as a matter of urgency and a further update will be published here over the weekend.
Once again, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused.
The PS Connect Team.”
