Oldham Sixth Form have provided us with information about how enrolment at the college will work this year, in line with adjustments for COVID-19 guidelines. Students who have been offered a place will need to complete three steps in order to complete their enrolment.
1. Pre-enrolment Tasks
Students need to send a copy/photo of their ID to email@example.com and upload a photo to an online portal. Students have been emailed instructions about how to log in and complete this. On Results Day, students will also need to enter their actual GCSE grades into the portal, along with a photo of their results slip. Again, details about how to do this have been emailed out. These tasks must be completed before their enrolment appointment can take place.
2. Enrolment Appointment- 24th-26th August
This will be a virtual enrolment appointment via Google Meet. Students have been emailed a date and time for their appointment, along with instructions for how to log in and use Google Meet. As some appointments may take longer than others, students may have to wait for their tutor to complete their previous appointment. This is the students opportunity to make any course changes and it is vital they attend. Students who do not attend will not be enrolled.
Students will attend a 1 hour induction session between 2nd and 4th September. They will receive their induction date and time on 1st September when they receive their timetables. They will collect their student ID, diary and other information. They will also meet their personal tutor. Lessons will begin w/c 7th September.
