Dear Parents and Carers,
As you are aware we issued students who were eligible for Free School Meals on the 30th March 2020 a £15 Tesco eVoucher which was emailed to the student’s school email account. This voucher is still valid, details of how to redeem this are on the email sent to eligible students last week.
I am writing to inform you that from the week commencing 6th April 2020, we will be using the Government’s National Free School Meal Voucher Scheme. All students not in attendance at school but who are eligible for Free School Meals will receive an eCode worth £15 that they can redeem towards vouchers for Asda, M&S Food, Morrisons, Sainsburys, Tesco or Waitrose each week to purchase food.
The voucher will be sent to the student’s school email address each Monday until the scheme finishes whilst your child is still eligible for Free School Meals.
In order to make it simpler for parents who have multiple children in school the value of the vouchers has been combined and will only be sent to the email address of the eldest child in the family. e.g. A family with 3 children eligible for Free School Meals will receive one email with an eCode worth £45 per week.
If you have any additional queries, please refer to this help guide.
To access their school email account your child should go to https://outlook.office.com and login with their school email address e.g. rad12345@trs-mail.co.uk. Their password is the same one they use to login to the computers in school. If there are any issues please email ict.support@theradclyffeschool.co.uk and we will do our best to assist you.
Any child attending school that qualifies for a free school meal will have their Free School Meal provided for them during the school day.
Grab bags will no longer be provided for collection at school.
If you have any further questions relating to this please do not hesitate to contact me.
Yours faithfully,
Mr J Cregg
Headteacher
